Stopped Dead - Just Released

I’ve just released Stopped Dead, the 31st Galactic Coalition Academy series. I really liked the premise for this one. Basically, what would happen if you were the one cadet in the Coalition who couldn’t be transported? Then alien invaders arrive and try to transport Earth away but fail, because you’re on it?

It’s an action-packed book that essentially never slows down after the invasion begins. If you liked Left of Nowhere, you’ll probably love Stopped Dead.

The first book is available from all my usual retailers (though note that it isn’t free on Amazon yet – I’ll have to wait for them to price match it). The Complete Series boxset is currently available on Amazon. They have a history of ‘price matching’ my full-priced boxsets to free then not allowing me to update the price. They’ve done it to something like the last three boxsets I’ve published with them. So fingers crossed it doesn’t happen. If it does, I’ll have to yank it down and put the singles up.

If you’re looking for the boxset, it’s available on all my other stores.

You can grab book one here:

In other news, I now have eight titles in Kindle Unlimited: Truth Seer Books 1-5, Star’s Guardian, Saturn’s Rings, and Mercury Nova. The last three are the heavily edited, updated versions of my old Supreme Outer Guardian series. And by heavily edited, one series was cut down by half. I’ve still got Brink’s End and Repeat to publish. I’ll put up Brink’s End in the next couple of days.

I’ve barely been writing through December (and if you missed it in the last newsletter, I didn’t publish in December, either). I’ve been finalizing and deploying my new epub generation script. Because I have 600+ titles (which includes singles, boxsets, and bundles), I cannot format and generate epubs by hand. Even available software solutions didn’t cut it for me. So I now have a big database and a custom script. I’ve finally gotten around to optimizing the epubs with retailer-specific links. So if you get to the back of, say, an Apple book, you’ll see an Apple-store link for the boxset/bundle, etc. I’ve always wanted this, but the logistics were complex. I had something like 2500 links to retrieve!

Anyway, it’s all done, and I’ve deployed the new epubs across most retailers. If you notice any issues, do let me know.

I’m now back to writing. I’m about 40% of the way through Learning to Love Lies (working title). It was a fun premise to come up with. It follows a new exorcist, who learns she can see souls and her controller, a mesmeric liar who has the purest soul she’s ever seen. I’ll be finished probably around the middle of January. Then I’ll move on to the next GCA. I don’t have any plans for it yet.

Anyway, that’s it from me. Happy reading, and happy 2026!
